It’s true that I can easily get distracted by my favorite TV shows or my never-ending list of work-related duties, but I’m aware that neglecting my living space is doing me no favors in the long run. Although I once considered hiring someone to assist with the tidying process, the idea of strangers rummaging through my personal belongings left me feeling unsettled. Plus, I’m quite particular about my space and how it’s organized, which makes relying on outside help an unattractive proposition.
With the current state of things, I’m even more hesitant about opening my home to outsiders without the proper precautions. That’s why it’s up to me to take responsibility for the cleanliness and upkeep of my surroundings. Not only will it keep me physically healthy, but it will also contribute to my mental health and overall happiness.
